The musculoskeletal problems and psychosocial status of teachers giving online education during the COVID-19 pandemic and preventive telerehabilitation for musculoskeletal problems

BACKGROUND: Musculoskeletal and psychosocial problems have tended to increase during the COVID-19 pandemic. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate changes in musculoskeletal status of teachers pandemic due online education investigate effects preventive telerehabilitation applications for problems. METHODS: Forty who conducted volunteered participate study. All assessments were performed via methods. The Cornell Discomfort Questionnaire (CMDQ), ProFitMap-Neck questionnaire, Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), Upper Extremity Functional (UEFI) used problems; Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) Depression (BDI) anxiety depression, respectively; Work–Life Balance Scale (WLBS) was how well individuals achieve this balance. Information about before education, after training obtained with assessments. After first assessment, telerehabilitation, which involved presentations brochures, applied 18 participants willing training. RESULTS: ProFitMap, UEFI, WLBS scores decreased significantly, while CMDQ, ODI, BDI, BAI increased significantly compared pre-online (p < 0.05). In addition, total ODI improved CONCLUSION: education. Preventive methods will be beneficial do not access face-to-face physiotherapy.
